Annually, the school receives a budget of £16000 plus £10 per child on roll from the Department of Education. Schools should prioritise PE and sport premium spending to improve in the following 5 key areas:
Our P.E. Co-ordinator works in close relationship with the Headteacher to establish the most appropriate way to spend our budget, providing maximum impact on the teaching and learning in our school, while also providing quality and breadth for our pupils.
This academic year, our focus will be on the continuation and progression of high-quality lessons through the use of the Outreach Coaches and enhancing the range and types of sports our children can take part in. We have invested in a coach for a day per week so that their expertise provides a varied curriculum for P.E. and sports and uphill staff alongside.
Our P.E. Leader, Mr Green, has continued to develop our curriculum by working closely with sports coaches and local schools and ensuring that we have all the equipment and resources to deliver a curriculum for all pupils to achieve.
