Miss Reid, Mrs Doran and Mrs Howorth

In year 6 these are great things to aim for!

Welcome to the summer term in Year 6!

We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and are ready for a busy summer term!

We are the Quartz (year 6) Team!

Our teachers are:

Miss Reid (on the right) and
Mrs Doran (on the left).

Mrs Howorth also works in our classroom (and she’s in green!).

Miss Reid is with us every day. Mrs Doran is with us in the mornings and a couple of afternoons.

This is the term with our National Tests in!

Hopefully the children have all been managing to do some revising over Easter and taking full advantage of their special revision books and practice papers.  The tests are in just a couple of weeks, so please do encourage the children to keep working through their books if you ordered them, completing homework tasks, learning spellings and times tables.

Even without the tests, the extra work/practice completed at home really does make a difference to their progress through education.  Please do sit with your child and help them through difficult areas, just like we do at school.
