Welcome to our Breakfast Club.
Breakfast Club re-starts on Monday 19 April 2021 and starts at 7.45 am.
Children can either arrive at 7.45 am or 8.00 am and the time you require must be stipulated on your booking.
Payment is:
£2.50 per session without breakfast (breakfast is not being provided at this stage but you are welcome to send breakfast in with your child – something simple like a pre-wrapped croissant or cereal bar).
Places must be booked in advance (termly/weekly/daily or on an ad hoc basis) by clicking here or completing the downloadable form (see below) and emailing it to breakfastclub@winchelsea.lincs.sch.uk or by informing the school office. Places should however be booked by 12 noon at the latest the day before a session is required. Payment for Breakfast Club should be made in advance or at the latest, on the day of attendance unless otherwise agreed. Payment by cheque made payable to Lincolnshire County Council, cash or childcare vouchers.
The school reserves the right to withhold Breakfast Club provision for your child/ren if fees are not paid.
Breakfast Club Aims
Breakfast Club is about making new friends, talking to other children and adults at the start of the day. For children (and staff!) who need to come round slowly in a morning, we have board games, Lego and quiet pastimes such as 1:1 reading or crafting (such as cutting, sticking, drawing, painting, playdough) or using the ICT suite with an adult. For children who like to be active, they can let off steam playing dodgeball, bench ball, hockey, table tennis, football, skipping and playground games—outside preferably but weather dependent. Children choose their own activities and are supervised by staff, but they are expected to tidy up after themselves, putting away the toys and tidying their crockery and cutlery after eating. Everyone gets involved and helps each other out when these jobs have been done. Our children might have an early start to the day but they go into class happy, relaxed and ready to learn.
