Bring on Summer!

We have got an exciting Summer Term planned!

Please ensure your child has sun cream and a sun hat with them in school every day.

Our learning this term

This term our topic is ‘Our Wonderful World’

Things you need to know

Our PE days are on Wednesday and Friday. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing for both indoor and outdoor sessions.

Homework will be set weekly and will consist of Mathletics and Spelling Shed activities.  Spellings will be set on a Friday for a test the following week.

Your children will come home each week with a reading diary and 2 reading books. One reading book is set at their reading level, the other is a free choice book to help develop the children’s love for reading. Please aim to read at least 3 times a week at home and record it in their reading diary - these will be checked each week in school.

Please ensure your child’s items are named. Such as school uniform, PE kit, water bottles and lunch boxes.
